'Out of the Shadows' is a short documentary film about the Domestic Workers United orginazation in New York City. Hunter Johansson and Talia Reyes conceived of and shot the project with cooperation from the organization. It was designed to draw attention to their ideas and attempts at improving the lives of domestic workers. They interviewed domestic workers and agents for the organization.
